Spravedlivost: Justice in Jalal-Abad
Jalal-Abad in southern Kyrgyzstan today resembles any colourful Central Asian town, but in 2010 this peace was shattered by inter-ethnic violence. In this tense environment the multi-ethnic staff of Spravedlivost, a local NGONGO
non-governmental organization, provided free legal aid to victims of the events. It was awarded the 2014 Max van der Stoel Award by the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.
