About
High Commissioner Ekeus will hold meetings with the country's senior officials, including Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Mikheil Machivariani, State Minister for Civic Integration Zinaida Bestaeva, and representatives of national minorities. Ambassador Ekeus will also visit the Region of Kvemo-Kartli where the ethnic Azeri population is geographically concentrated and where the HCNM implements a number of projects.
