The High Commissioner will also propose a series of initiatives aimed at raising the awareness of minority rights in Uzbekistan.
Apart from his focus on Uzbekistan's internal situation, the High Commissioner will also brief the country's authorities on his work to promote the integration of ethnic Uzbeks in other Central Asian states. Uzbekistan's role and participation in the HCNM-sponsored initiative "Inter-state Dialogue on Social Integration and National Minority Education in Central Asia" will also be touched upon.
