Ambassador Vollebaek will discuss recent developments in Ukraine's minority and language policy as well as problems related to inter-ethnic integration in the region of Crimea.
He will present and discuss the HCNM Recommendations on Policing in Multi-Ethnic Societies during a conference in Simferopil on 6 November, organized jointly with the Ukrainian Ministry of Interior and a local NGONGO
non-governmental organization. In addition, he will participate in the conference 'Models of Inter-Ethnic Relations in Ukraine and Europe' in Kyiv.
